Individual, Couples & Relationship Counselling and Psychotherapy, Aberdeenshire
You might be feeling anxious, low, burnt out, grieving, or finding yourself stuck in patterns of overthinking or emotional overwhelm. At times it can feel like you are carrying a lot on your own, even if that is not always visible to others.
Therapy can offer a space to slow things down and begin to gently make sense of what is happening beneath the surface.
My approach is person centred and relational. This means we will work at your pace and follow what feels important for you, rather than trying to force things in a particular direction.
I will not be here to fix you or analyse you from a distance. Instead, I offer a steady and supportive space where you can begin to explore your experience with less judgement and more understanding.
I believe change often happens when we feel safe enough, steady enough, and truly heard by another person.
In our sessions we will gently explore what you are carrying and begin to notice the patterns, feelings and meanings that sit underneath what is going on for you.
Over time this may help you feel more connected to yourself and clearer about what you need and what might feel possible.

“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
Carl Jung, 1916
What Clients Often Notice
Over time, people often begin to notice a shift in how they relate to themselves.
Things that once felt overwhelming can start to feel more understandable. There can be a little more space between a feeling and a reaction, and patterns that once felt automatic may begin to feel easier to recognise.
Some people describe feeling more steady within themselves, or more able to pause before responding in the same familiar ways. Others notice a growing clarity around what they are feeling, and what they might need.
It is often not about becoming someone different, but about feeling more connected to who you already are.
