“The quality of our relationships
determines the quality of our lives.”

Every relationship goes through challenges - whether you’re feeling distant from your partner, struggling after a breakup or affair, or simply wanting to strengthen your connection. Relationship counselling offers a space to explore what’s happening between you, recognise repeating patterns, and create healthier ways of relating.
Relationship counselling is different from individual therapy. Instead of focusing on one person’s thoughts or behaviours, I work with the dynamic between people - the patterns, communication styles, and emotional needs that shape the relationship.
My role is that of a facilitator, guiding conversations, helping each person feel heard, and supporting both to understand what is happening in the space between them.
Sometimes, counselling also becomes a space to explore whether a relationship has reached its natural end. Where separation becomes the path forward, I can support you to navigate it with honesty, compassion, and as much understanding as possible, particularly where children or shared responsibilities are involved.
What can begin to shift in relationship counselling
Over time, couples often begin to move from cycles of conflict, confusion, or disconnection toward a greater sense of understanding and clarity between them.
Communication can start to feel a little more open and honest, even when the conversations are still difficult.
There can be a deeper awareness of each person's emotional needs, and how these show up within the relationship.
Some couples notice moments of increased empathy, where they are able to see each other with more softness and perspective.
Many couples find they become clearer about what they want for the future of their relationship. For some, this means rebuilding trust and strengthening their connection. For others, it means recognising that the healthiest path is to separate with honesty, compassion, and mutual respect.
Whatever direction the relationship takes, the aim is to help both people feel heard, understood, and better equipped to move forward.

My work is inclusive of all relationship structures, including GSRD relationships such as polyamory, open relationships, and other consensual non-monogamous dynamics.
I also welcome couples where one or both partners are neurodivergent. I recognise that differences in communication, emotional processing, sensory experiences, and ways of relating can sometimes lead to misunderstanding or disconnection.
Together, we can gently explore these differences with curiosity and compassion, helping each partner to better understand themselves, each other, and the unique relationship they are creating.
Relationship counselling isn’t just for couples in a romantic partnership.
Our connections with others - family members, friends, colleagues, or co-parents can all bring challenges, misunderstandings, or emotional strain.
Counselling can help you explore any kind of relationship where communication feels difficult, boundaries are unclear, or old patterns keep repeating. Whether you want to strengthen a family bond, navigate conflict with a loved one, or find closure after a separation, the focus remains the same: understanding what happens between people and finding healthier ways to connect.
